Colorful Macaron

今天與我的High Tea成員們約在Yonge and Eglinton的 Ruelo Patisserie,
沒有選在Times Square的location, 全因為這裏有多些選餐種類, 不只甜點。
但其後發現, 多了的只是下圖的東西(別失望, 繼續看下去~)

 

牛角包(croissant), 法國包(baguette)...只在Yonge and Eglinton location

沒試過這裏的Latte, 不知道好不好喝!?

大家也覺得選afternoon tea比較好, 因為甜點有馬卡龍, hehe~
而且很便宜, 只是$15.99~ (真的沒吃過更便宜的啊~)

茶罐子也是很有色彩~

茶真的不是有太多選擇, 主要是Kumis Tea, 來自巴黎的品牌,
Organic Tea就來自Lov Tea~
如一般供應Afternoon tea的地方, 你可以先聞聞茶的香氣,
罐子上有略略介紹其味道, 客人慢慢選,
選好就告訴店員, 他們會為你打點準備~

Blend of roasted mate with scents of chocolate and orange,

茶葉中真的有橙皮, 想更了解其好處?

Afternoon Tea 的三層架到了~

份量雖然小小的, 可是都是美味的~

這是我第一次可以完全吃光全個Afternoon Tea set,

通常afternoon tea的Scone是大大件的, 吃了一個已飽...

但這裏是mini size, 我們非常滿意它小小的, 比較可愛, 也不用打包回家,

美中不足是有些葡萄乾烤焦了, 有點小苦...

而且clotted cream不是來自英國的Devonshire cream~

(一分錢一分貨, 其實也不應該complain了~)

傳統上, 吃scone就是先塗jam再塗cream, 很罪惡的美味啊~ 

prosciutto wrap, smoke salmon

我忘了拍closeup...egg salad已被吃光光,
finger sandwiches的造型全是open face的, 漂漂亮亮的,
醬汁配料得宜, 味道好好啊~
(你會覺得不夠...然後...)

追加的蛋沙拉牛角包

此店my must eat item, 牛角包酥脆, 蛋沙拉也超讚的,
結果我們五個女子, 除了吃光五個afternoon tea set, 還追加了三個蛋沙拉牛角包!

真的好好吃啊~  (正懷念中...)

Windsor Arm Afternoon Tea (revisit)

今日到Windsor Arm 去兌現我那張在teambuy買的優惠,
本以為在平日會比較不忙, 可以悠閒的享受下午茶,
誰知道滿滿的都是人, 這次只好坐在廳中間的一張小桌,
桌子是置在兩廳通道的門口, 感覺是挺奇怪的,
上年就是幸運的坐在窗邊, 還有沙發呢~
沒有像上年那樣狂拍照, 因為食物也是一個樣, 沒變!!!
三文治也是青瓜、煙三文魚與鷄沙拉。
Today went Windsor Arm to redeem the coupon I got  from teambuy.
I thought weekday won't be so busy as everyone should be working?
I planned to enjoy a relaxing afternoon tea there, however it was full house today.
And I sit near a door that between the two tea room, feeling quite weird.

味道不像上次那樣驚為天人的美味, Tea sandwiches are quite soggy有點濕濕的,
餡料配合的味道是好的, 面包卻有點太濕。
幸好Scone是鬆軟的, 很香 ~

Devon Cream, Raspberry Jam, Strawberry Jam

而且有鮮果醬, Devonshire (or Devon) Cream 塗在一起吃。

甜品是漂亮, 卻真的不是我所喜愛的。

Angus glen golf club 下午茶

It's a very Big table for 3 of us. 

和兩個中學好友到Angus glen golf club 喝下午茶。
一座大樓有好幾間廳，找了一陣子才找到喝茶的地方，
一間小廳有六、七張枱，我們選了近窗的位子,
沒有甚麼特別的佈置，感覺就是白白的，而我們的桌子有點大，
如果小一點, 大家能坐近一點, 會更親蜜舒服的閒談。

我喝的是Ginseng Goji Tea.

那些是scone嗎? 扁扁小小的，甜又有點乾, 
那些strawberry butter, orange butter不是特別的好吃, 好似icing甜甜的。
Sandwiches很隨意的給，所以不是每款也試了，
那個veggie wrap是有羊奶芝士的，我勉強地吃下，
其實真的不難吃，但我真不愛goat cheese。
我還吃了煙三文魚與吞拿魚，
Sandwiches的造型與味道是普通的ok。
没有甜點, 但一大盤新鮮水果, 蜜瓜、哈蜜瓜、橙、西柚、紅葡萄、青葡萄、草莓、藍莓。



I suspect it isn't the usual place for afternoon tea.
Just today there is a Bridal Shower hosting upstair in the restaurant, so they moved to this small room?
Anywayz, I'll come back for the Mother's Day Brunch. =]  Hope it can "WOW" me.
Around $23 (including tax) per person.  It's a good deal for a relaxing afternoon to chat with your girlfriends.
(Not focus on the food, just a quiet place to chat. hahaha....)
Afternoon Tea only available on Sunday, begins at 2pm.
